Good afternoon,
Here is the second of 3 for my weekend. This card is for St Luke's Charity Card Challenge - One Layer Month.
Well I really struggled on this card with everything. I have been following Barbara Gray this morning and was trying out some techniques. Think I could have done better.
I used Katy Sue Silhouette Stamps for the fairies and the branches at the top of the square and IndigoBlu - Anenome Corner for the corner stamp.
How I put the card together was I cut a piece of Neenah card 7 1/4 in square, and then measured a border of 3/4 in. I then placed paper over the border. I stamped the fairy first and then made a mask for it. I then stamped the IndigoBlu corner over the fairy. The last stamps I did were the branches at the top and the fairy in the left hand corner. Once it was all stamped I distressed the edge of the smaller square with blue and purple papermania ink using cotton wool balls. When I was happy with the disstressed inking I coloured the flowers using my Spectrum Noir pens. Next I embossed the fairies wings and the daisy chain with silver WOW embossing powder. I then did a 1/4 in border around the whole card and masked it off. I then embossed the edge of the card with Cosmic Shimmer Steel Blue Aurora embossing powder. The last thing to finish the card was to sprinkle some fairy dust (glitter) over the card.
Well after all that I am pooped.
Thank you for popping by and hope you pop back soon. Vic x
